Structural Engineer - Director


Rob has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. While studying for his Engineering qualifications he gained valuable experience as a Draftsman working closely with and learning from Building Surveyors, Structural, Civil and Drainage Engineers and became a professionally qualified Incorporated Structural Engineer in 2010.

Over this time, he has gained a wide range of experience including the structural design and detailing of Steel, Timber, Concrete and Masonry.

In addition to this, Rob produces planning and building regulations drawings for new build dwellings, extensions, internal alterations, loft conversions and barn conversions. Rob uses his experience of structural engineering and construction detailing to produce workable, economical proposals at the earliest possible stage of a project.

Rob also has experience of temporary works and is an established consultant to the scaffolding industry. Rob has been involved in many high profile scaffolding projects and the emergency propping and shoring of buildings in the aftermath of fire damage and vehicular impact.

Since 2014, Rob has sat on the Institution of Structural Engineers Membership Committee. Since 2012, Rob has also been a member of the Temporary Works Forum which aims to raise standards in temporary works through the shared experience of its members.
